Pastor KedarBajgain was born into a Hindu family. He heard the gospel and wanted to become a Christian after receiving a tract. He experienced immediate opposition from his community, but it did not stop Kedar’s interest in following Christ.

However, it wasn’t until he was seventeen that he understood that salvation was by grace alone and not by grace plus works. Since then he has been fully assured of his salvation.
From the time of his conversion, Sam has had an overwhelming passion to study and preach God’s Word. While at university he got involved with a student ministry and later entered full-time ministry.

Harvest Austin, TX
Bryan Payne obtained his M. Div. from The Master’s Seminary. He served in youth ministry for six years while working as the owner/operator of multiple businesses.
Nothing excites Bryan as much as watching men and women grow in their love and understanding of Jesus Christ (Col. 1:28) while infectiously spreading the gospel to everyone around them (Matt. 5:14-16)! His desire is to see this done at home first and then with the people at Harvest.
His favorite extra-biblical quote is by John Newton: “Two things I know: I am a great sinner, and Christ is a GREAT Savior!”

Harvest Monmouth, IL
AJ grew up in Geneseo, Illinois where he graduated from J.D. Darnall High School. While his time in the classroom was beneficial, the best part of high school was meeting Rebekah, who AJ married in 2004. Even though AJ grew up in a home where Christ was proclaimed, AJ didn’t feel the weight of his sin and the death it had earned him until his sophomore year of high school. While at a camp in North Carolina, AJ understood that although his sin was great, Jesus Christ as his Savior was greater. He confessed His sin to Christ and simply said, “Jesus whatever You want, whenever You want it – it’s Yours.” From that moment on, AJ’s deepest desire was to be used by the Lord to bring Him glory however He would see fit. AJ spent his first few years out of high school working for Starbucks Coffee helping new stores throughout the Quad Cities and Cedar Rapids. In 2008, AJ began working at a church in Geneseo as the Director of Worship and Director of the Sr. High Ministry. While in these positions at the church, AJ developed a passion for the proclamation of God’s Word though preaching and a desire to pursue church planting. In the Lord’s providence, AJ joined the staff at Harvest Bible Chapel – Davenport in 2012 as a Pastoral Resident and in 2014, AJ accepted the role of Pastor of Men’s Ministries. In 2016 Pastor AJ accepted the call to become the Lead Pastor at Harvest Bible Chapel Monmouth (formerly Countryside Bible Church) and continue to build the churches legacy of glorifying God through the fulfillment of the Great Commission in the spirit of the Great Commandment. Cap Rouge, Haiti
Antoine grew up in a Christian family that struggled with physical poverty. Antoine’s socio-economic status placed him as a nameless statistic in the tragic situation that Haiti has found itself in as a country. No one seemed to care and Antoine felt a great burden through this poverty and the condescending way people looked at him. He was on the lower rungs of an already depressing life situation. At the same time Antoine physically faced an illness that forced him to make constant hospital visits for 6 years in his youth keeping him from school or being able to go out and play like other kids his age. But God had plans for Antoine! God took hold of Antoine’s life through the witness, love, and compassion that his believing family showed him. What is more, God not only spiritually healed Antoine, but also physically freed him from the bondage of his illness. By God’s grace, Antoine truly was healed and restored to Him. Antoine accepted Christ as Lord of his life and was baptized when he was 18 to show the world that he was walking with the Lord. Since his conversion, God used him in the ministry at Harvest Bible Chapel Jacmel where he had been in charge of the maintenance of the church, participated as worship leader, and was in charge of the men’s ministry and the production department. Now Antione is the Senior Pastor of Harvest Cap Rouge, Haiti which launched in May 2016.

Jet Bahadur Tamang
Harvest Chitwan-Dumrekhadi, Nepal
Jet was born into a Hindu family in the Dhading district of Nepal. Before he accepted the Lord, Jet was a heavy drinker and would often argue with people in his community; he had no interest in hearing the gospel.
One day, Jet came down with a high fever and went to a witchdoctor for relief, but he continued to grow weaker. A Christian in his neighborhood shared the Word of God with him, and Jet vowed that if his neighbor’s God could heal his sickness, then he would believe in Him. Jet began to attend the church regularly and began to feel as good as he used to before he was sick. He continued to learn about the God who could heal his sickness and forgive his sins, and decided to follow Christ.
Jet continued to walk three hours to worship God and attend church, and wanted to start a core group in his area. Through the guidance and training of Pastor Timothy from Harvest Kathmandu and his team, many people in Jet’s village were able to come together and start a core group. This core group has become a vibrant church that is continuing to grow under Pastor Jet today.
Harvest Kavre District, Panauti, Nepal
Born into a Buddhist family, Padam devoted himself to Hindu gods. While at his school library, he came across The Human Heart, a Christian tract describing the universal longing for God all humans are given. Padam became restless after reading the truths the tract contained and searched for a Christian church and a “holy man” who could explain more.
He traveled 3.5 hours by foot to the nearest town (Panauti) to meet an old friend who was a Christian. His friend took him to his church where Padam was riveted and gripped by the gospel. On February 26, 2001 he gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized.
Padam took the good news of Jesus back to his village, but was rejected there. He returned to Panauti where he was free to worship and grow in Christ. He enrolled in and completed two years of study at a Bible Training Center. He came to the Fellowship Training Center through Pastor Timothy of Harvest Bible Chapel Kathmandu.
Harvest Dhading District, Lave Village, Nepal
Pastor Phushra Tamang was born into a Buddhist family and grew up around witch doctors, pagan rituals, traditions, and sacrifices. One day a man shared the gospel with him and three days later he accepted Christ as his Savior.
Persecution soon came into his life and his daughter became sick. The hospital was too far away and he didn’t want to take her to the witch doctor. The church prayed for her and after 11 days of not eating, she was healed!
A year and a half later, Phushra entered the ministry and courageously shared the gospel. Many came to Christ, but then war broke out in the country and it was difficult to continue the ministry. Buddhists came and beat them for their faith, but this only caused Phushra to pray for those who were persecuting him. Peace later came to the village and the gospel ministry continued to advance as Christians multiplied and grew in their faith.
