Harvest Davenport, IA
Rob graduated from Wheaton College and then worked for eleven years trading commodities at the Chicago Board of Trade. He enjoyed his work but had a growing desire to directly influence others for Christ. After leaving the corporate world, he began full-time work in a post-prison ministry in January of 2000. Rob conducted seminars and worked with Christian ex-cons to help them make the transition from prison back to society through the local church.
During this time, Rob felt God’s leading to join Harvest Bible Chapel Glen Ellyn (now Naperville), the first church plant of Harvest Bible Fellowship. Shortly thereafter, Rob began his Masters in Biblical Studies at Wheaton College and joined the staff of Harvest as Pastor of Adult Ministries in June of 2001.
In May of 2004, Rob responded to God’s leading to plant a church and began the work of establishing Harvest Bible Chapel Davenport, IA. God blessed these efforts quickly and abundantly. Just 18 months after launch, the church purchased a building and moved in a year later.
Rob continues to serve the church to see more impact in more lives.
